Judge Kyle Rohrer

Judge Kyle Rohrer was elected to the Delaware Municipal Court in November 2019.

Before his election to the bench, Judge Rohrer served on Delaware City Council, representing the Fourth Ward from 2015-2019.  While on council he was a member of the Historic Preservation Commission, the Airport Commission, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, and was the Municipal Court Liaison.

From 2006-2019 he was an assistant prosecutor for Delaware County.  Judge Rohrer prosecuted felony cases, advised county elected officials, and supervised the day to day operations of the Prosecutor’s Office.

From 1999 through 2006, Judge Rohrer was an assistant prosecutor for the City of Delaware.  In that role he handled thousands of cases in this Court.

Judge Rohrer holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State and a law degree from Cleveland-Marshall.  He lives in Delaware with his wife Erin and their four children.
