The Donation and Sponsorship Program allows groups and individuals to donate trees and benches to honor or commemorate friends or loved ones as well as sponsor youth recreation teams. Trees and benches purchased through the program are planted or placed in a scenic location at one of the City of Delaware parks.

Your gift will be a wonderful remembrance or commemoration of a special occasion that adds beauty to the natural environment. It is also a valuable contribution to the parks system which is utilized by people of all ages and abilities.

The Delaware community also has a unique opportunity to support area youth through team sponsorships. Not only will your assistance provide support for recreation programs and sports, your business or organization will gain valuable exposure within our community of more than over 1,000 participants and their families.

These donations qualify as a charitable contribution tax deduction.
