The City of Delaware maintains a dedicated, caring and respectful staff ready to serve your cemetery needs. For your convenience, our cemetery office is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The office is 
located at 500 E. Lincoln Avenue in the City's Parks and Recreation offices.

Hours: dawn to dusk
Vehicles: All vehicles must remain on roadways; speed limit is 15 mph.
Pets: Pets must be on a leash. Pet owners must clean up after their pet.
Decorations: The cemetery is not responsible for theft or damage to items placed on graves, and reserves the right to remove any plants or decorations which do not conform to cemetery standards.

Decoration Policy

PERMITTED

Natural flowers May-October 1, artificial flowers November-May, in a bed 12 inches or less front of marker, with natural wood mulch only.

Plastic, metal, or clay planters less than 14 inches diameter and next to the marker.

Small military service flags, solar lights, garden flags/holders next to the marker.

Mementos less than 6 inches tal must be on the base of the monument.

Cradles/saddles of high quality that will not rust or leave marks on monument.

Temporary grave markers will be removed and discarded after 12 months.

Permanent urns, placed in a row next to monument/marker on an approved cement base.

Winter wreaths and decorations after November 1 will be removed after March 15. Christmas decorations will be removed January 31.

Summer decorations & flowerpots will be removed October 1.

NOT PERMITTED

Planted trees, shrubs, large perennials

Enclosures/borders/fencing of any kind

Stones, rocks, shells

Shepherd hooks

Grave blankets

Please contact cemetery office for information on monumentation.

*The cemetery reserves the right to remove any decorations at any time.

*The cemetery is not responsible for theft or damage to anything placed on graves or grounds of the cemetery.
